SHIPPING POLICY
1. Generalities
By placing an order through Veste-Chauffante, you agree to the terms below. They are provided to ensure that both parties are aware of and agree to this arrangement in order to mutually protect each other and set expectations for our services.
2. Delivery fees
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the destination of the items in your order. Regardless of the weight or dimensions of the package, they will remain the same. Delivery is completely free to Metropolitan France as well as to: Spain, Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Luxembourg.
3. Delivery Conditions
3.1 Shipping deadline
Orders are generally processed within 48 hours following payment. Indeed, we allow a few hours so that you can make changes to items or the address. After this period, unfortunately, we will no longer be able to proceed with a refund before the product is delivered and returned to the provided address. However, this period can sometimes be extended by a few days, especially during busy periods (Black Friday and year-end holidays).
3.2 Delivery deadline
Our total delivery times (shipping + delivery) to Metropolitan France are on average 2+12 business days (sometimes 7 days) but can be extended during busy periods such as Black Friday or the end-of-year holidays.
If the delivery time of your package exceeds 1 month, it may have encountered complications during transit (loss or theft). If this is the case, contact us at contact@veste-chauffante.com, we will take the necessary steps within 24 hours to resolve this inconvenience by offering you, for example, a reshipment at our expense with a discount code (for your next order) or a voucher.
This remains quite rare, but we are starting to be victims of our own success and we prefer to anticipate this kind of situation and inform you about our shipping policy.
In general, delivery times for orders placed abroad, especially to the French overseas departments and territories, can be extended. Indeed, delivery can sometimes take up to 1 month.
3.3 Important information
It is important to note the difference between shipping and delivery. Shipping refers to the processing of the order carried out by our teams. Delivery, on the other hand, refers to the transit of the order carried out by the carrier.
4. Notification tracking
When your package is shipped, you will automatically receive a link from which you can track the progress of its delivery (based on the latest updates provided by the carrier).
5. Import rights and taxes
Import duties and taxes may be applied to international shipments. These amounts vary by country, and we want you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us. If you refuse to pay the duties and taxes upon receipt of your package, the items will be returned to us at your expense. You will then receive a refund for the value of the items minus the return shipping fees. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
